I am a step-grandmother! My husband’s first grandchild, Juliet Katherine Rich, was born today in Eugene, Oregon. Six pounds, 10 ounces. Mother and child doing well. Grandpa John, who turns 60 on Monday, will recover soon, I’m sure.
We’re in Chicago for my daughter’s graduation from University of Chicago Law School. Tomorrow is the big day. Allison worked hard for this and I’m proud of her for making it happen.
In two weeks, we’ll go to Oregon to view Baby Juliet, previously known as Peanut.
